Surfboards

We have created authentic models of surfboards for both beginners and professionals, and their added value is adaptation to the specifics of Baltic Sea water*, the possibility to order individual parameters and individual design of existing models of surfboards, kiteboards and wake surf boards, as well as decorative (interior design) boards

A surfboard with customized elements - volume, rocker, thickness, shape outline - provides an optimal wave surfing experience in the Baltic Sea

* The Baltic Sea water composition e.g. water density and salinity is relatively lower (1005-1010 kg/m3) than in the ocean (1025 kg/m3), which means that objects have the best buoyancy in denser water, which directly affects the overall performance of water sports boards

Kitesurf

The kitesurfing boards created by us are adapted to the rider's different skill levels, designed with increased stability for an optimal experience of kitesurfing sessions, especially in the Baltic Sea

Wakesurf

We have also developed a wakesurf board model for surfing in the wave created behind the boat. When creating this board we designed the board construction especially with additional strengthening technical materials (honeycomb) to ensure the hydrodynamic loads

Deco (interior) boards

We also make design deco boards adapted to the interior. It is practically impossible to surf with this board - it only visually complements the space as an aesthetic element of the interior

Board ordering process

Your parameters (height, weight, leg stance (regular or goofy) and the constant search for the perfect wave will significantly influence the development of the custom board, because guided by these parameters, we can effectively find the "cornerstones" of the board, such as: 1) the widest point of the board (WP), which directly affects the manoeuvrability and stability of the board; 2) the ratio of the thickness of the surfboard to the weight of the surfer, which will directly affect the board's volume and buoyancy reserves
Knowing your favourite spot and wave type, it is easier to find and adjust the rocker parameters of the board - accordingly, the surfing speed is adjusted to the speed of the wave, as a result - longer trips and greater pleasure catching waves!
Selection of foam materials. You will be able to choose from three standard options - Polyurethane foam (PU), polystyrene foam (EPS) or extruded polystyrene foam (XPS). Each has its pros and cons, for example, EPS is lighter with better buoyancy than PU, at the same time a board made of PU will sink deeper into the water, but it will feel more pleasant to surf
Board type/size - choosing the right surfboard for your skills is half the battle! If you have just started surfing - it is especially important to have a stable board with a suitable rocker, board dimensions adapted to your parameters and sufficient volume, so that you can more easily train your balance, the position of your feet on the board and the transfer of your body weight according to the shape of the wave
Fins - the choice of fins suitable for surfing conditions will significantly affect the quality of surfing and extend your time - being on the board in the "green room" of the wave!
Design - of course, the visual design of the board also plays a big role - a board with a custom design will fit well both in a well-thought-out interior and will be a delight the eyes under your feet while enjoying the wave 🙂 Guided by the surfer's requirements, we coordinate and create the design of the board, providing such design elements as: 1) paint colours and tinting (FYI DRTYBOARDS doesn't work with paint colours, pretty much everything you see on your DRTYBOARDS board is tinted epoxy); 2) austere forms and lines; 3) embedding and positioning of a personalized logo (or text); 4) and other nuances to give the board a "cherry-on-top" vibes
Digital layout - After everything mentioned above, we will prepare a visual layout of your board in digital format. Next, we coordinate it with you - the deadline for the production of the board (depending on the workload of the workshop) and the total cost of the board are agreed upon. The cost of the board can be calculated from 595 eur, depending on the complexity of the board
Pre-ordering materials - so that your board lasts longer and has high quality - DRTYBOARDS uses only professional materials from Viral surf to make our boards (materials and consumables are delivered within 1-2 weeks). Depending on the type and design of the surfboard, an advance payment can be required (20-30% of the total cost of the board)
